Councillors using their (soon to be bald) heads to fight cancer

Three Ottawa city councillors are going bald at the University of Ottawa Shave for a Cure event Friday.
Councillors Shad Qadri, Keith Egli and Tim Tierney are having their heads shaved to raise money for Smiling Over Sickness (SOS), which helps volunteers contribute to the lives of children who have cancer.
The charity is run by the University of Ottawa faculty of medicine and Shave for a Cure is an annual fundraiser.
The shaving is taking place at 7 p.m. Friday at the J. Benson Cartgae Centre in Lansdowne Park.
